Scholarship Update, Next Gen Chapter Meeting and Announcements

Below are a few announcements…
February 20: Northeastern University is hosting a seminar on Concrete Design. The event will be held in the Snell Engineering Building at Northeastern University in Boston. Registration will take place at 1:30, with the seminar running from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. To register for this seminar, please go here: http://tiny.cc/l7AUB
February 22: The founder of Engineers Without Borders USA, Bernard Amadei, will be speaking at Smith College in Northampton on Monday, Feb 22 from 12:10 pm to 1 pm.
February 24: Our next general chapter meeting is scheduled for February 24 at CDM (4th Floor Camp & McKee Room), 50 Hampshire Street from 7pm to 8pm. Parking is available in the basement of the building. Enter from 205 Broadway entrance.
Open Position: Our treasurer, Mike Zanchi, has stepped aside and we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to continue all his good work. Please email secretary@ewbboston.org if you are interested in the position.
EWB International Conference Scholarships: Congratulations to Ethan LaRochelle and Diego Ponce de Leon Barido on being selected for a scholarship to attend the EWB USA International Conference in Denver, CO.
Fundraising/Social/Newsletter Committees: We are looking for help on the subject committees and welcome any help we can get. This is your opportunity to start something new at EWB Boston and make a difference.
