Sign up to attend the Beer Tasting Event, 06/07/10
Please join us on June 7, 2010, at 5:30 pm for an evening of beer tasting at the Harpoon Brewery in South Boston. The cost for the event is $20 ($15 for official members of EWB Boston who are paying their annual membership dues), and will include samples of Harpoon beer and light appetizers. Space for this event is limited – to reserve a spot, please do the following:
1. Fill out the form here. Please sign up by June 1, 2010.
2. Make a check out for $20 per person ($15 per person for official members of EWB Boston who are paying their annual membership dues) to Engineers Without Borders-USA and mail to: Bree Carlson, GEI Consultants, 400 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801. Please put “Boston Professionals” in the memo field.

Cambridge Water Treatment Plant Tour, 02/01/2010
EWB Boston arranged for a tour of the Walter J. Sullivan Water Purification Facility which provides clean drinking water to Cambridge. The guided tour took us through the well designed plant which includes several stages of physical and chemical treatment. Six EWBers attended the tour and had the opportunity to ask questions on basic water treatment/testing that are relevant to our international projects.

Habitat for Humanity, 12/12/2009
Eight EWBers braved the cold and took time out of busy holiday schedules to help the North Shore Habitat for Humanity rehab an apartment building in Lynn (with a team from Marian Court College). It was messy, as we demolished two 100+ year old chimneys, but it was a great time!

EWB Bowling Event, 11/15/2009
We had an excellent turnout for the bowling event at Kings Back Bay Lanes on Sunday, November 15th. Everyone had lots of fun and we raised ~$200 in the process.Thanks to everyone who came and special thanks to our fundraising committee (Katy, Hari, Charlie and Luis) for organizing the event.
